Description

With the 3DuxDesign Tiny House Challenge Lesson Grade 3-6, students begin by learning about the various types of communities. They will then learn about perspective and scale as they ideate, collaborate, design and build a well laid out community.

Next, the group will become the team of designers assigned to rejuvenate a community by developing a defunct factory site and turning it into a thriving community center. During this exercise, students will use skills including geometry, 3D spatial thinking, structural and material engineering to build a sustainable development that will help support the social, cultural and economic needs of this community.

After completing this urban renewal project with 3DuxDesign, your students will have the knowledge, skills, and inspiration to be stewards of a sustainable future for communities across the globe.
